Many demonstrators succeeded in entering by forcing the walls of the Capitol. They took the corridors and visited offices. One of them sit in the Senate Chamber. The police arrived to slow them down while the parliamentarians and senators were busy entering the final results. A gunshot sounded seriously affecting a woman who was being transported to hospital. President Trump later demand the protesting troops to return to their homes. The Vice President asked to strengthen the defense teams in order to get them out of the building entirely. Some stayed for a few hours waiting for the order to intervene.
